That is a very uncaring and heartless attitude. Do you realize the ridicule that baby will go through the rest of his life because of inconsiderate people like you. You will know and remember this conversation one day. You should literally apologize for that comment right here on this sight. Then maybe what you sent around will not come around to you or someone you love. That is a child...YOU BULLYING BRUTE!

Bless this sweet little boy and his family! I hope that he keeps his faith all through his life. God has big plans for him and will use him in great ways!

I was injured at a young age and was left with a permanant disablity. I work and raise two children on my own and am not on assistance of any kind. Just because this child was injured, DOES NOT make him have to stay secluded from everyone nor does he have to stay on some form of government funding. This accident could push the child to do more than he would have ever imagined possible. This will hopefully make him a stronger person when all is said and done. Good luck to him and his family!

The paper says the family needs help with "medical assistance". Is the Pike county rec dept not covering the cost? It seems like a scree sticking out of a fence would be a liabilty for the county?

I know this family, they are a good family and have held up well during this time. Semaj has not slowed down at all during this and it was just a freak accident. The rude comments are just in bad taste and not pertinent to the article at all. Heaven forbid it happen to your child.
