Multiple gunshots killed Burousas

Pike County murder victim Jimmie Burousas Jr. died from gunshot wounds to his head and torso, according to his official death certificate.

The certificate lists his death as a homicide and states he was "shot by other(s)."

I have a SPED student in this system....Even though things are done at times i don't agree with. Overall my child has learned more the past two years than I ever thought he could...All 4 schools passing AYP these past two years is a huge accomplishment for our schools....What I have learned by helping out and being present in the schools...is that it is not always the teachers/admin that are the problems...A lot of the problems are the parents....Don't get me wrong I don't agree with everything the system does, but I know and have been around enough to see how much these teachers/admin truely love and care about the students....When you are helping in a class room and papers are sent home to be signed two and three times in a row with no response...Where are the parents?????When rec ball season begins and they send notes to the teacher saying they child could not complete homework due to a ball game Where are the Parents????? Some of you instead of saying how horrible the admin is or the system is... You need to volunteer in these schools to see what really goes on....I think you would be suprised....Going on witch hunts and taking personal attacks on people for no reason other than you don't like them or want them in that position...What is that teaching our children??? To fuss and fight, raise a stink until you get what you want....I see it everyday as I volunteer the minute the teacher does something the child doesn't like they call Moma or Daddy and they are up at the school the next day..just something to think about...

Mr. Andrew Odom, when things are so quite is when the ugly misleading rumors start and gives the appearance nothing is being done. Will there ever be a discription of the two men posted?

Here's the description as published in the intial story:

One is a black male about six feet tall with a muscular build who was wearing blue jeans and a black t-shirt. The other is a white male, 5-8 to 5-10 and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. He has blue eyes and was wearing a black t-shirt with a white graphic design on the front.

I have wondered what color hair the white male had since she gave the color of his eyes as blue.

I don't understand why we haven't heard some results from the GBI or PCSO.

why not get an artist to sketch a photo then they might be found. it is odd to have eye color but no hair color.

I'll bet Teresa and Jimmie (Buzz's Daddy) are really upset because those sketches have not been released yet so these murders can be caught. That is so sad.

I believe if they were angry about sketches coming out they would have gone to the media by now. Have you thought about there not being any sketches being release because the two men don't exist? And Yes I do know her.

Highly doubtful, Sheila. I heard from a relative that they suspect what most everyone else suspects....There was no black man and white man with blue eyes driving a white late 90's model Trans-Am.

Initially I was impressed by how well she was able to describe her attackers. I just knew that if that happened to me I couldn't recall all that. I thought it was wonderful because with a detailed description like that an arrest would surely be made soon. Now I am beginning to believe the two men don't exist except in her mind. That black man went from six feet to six four over the next few days.

Yes, the two men don't exist, come on people, we all know who did it, I guess it may shock some, but there are not two guys to be looking for.

I have to agree with whom ever made the comment about Jerry Colwell's TV. Law here is based on who you are or who you are related to.

I made a terrible mistake. I went to the sheriff and begged for his help. I had pictures or the trucks and some of the tag numbers at the time.

All I can say is if you are a Woman in Pike County take picture's, and be dang sure to make copy's of them, at least 5 or more and make copy's of all the paper work to! Hide it all separately and in different places. That way they will never know if they have it all!

Take note's and date everything as it happens!

Hide them where no one can find it. Trust no one! If you have no family left you can trust, go at least 50 to 100 miles and put it in a locker or something you can get access to at a later date. A safety deposit box requires a SS. number, so I advise against it.

Keep all paper work even if they are trying to make you look bad! That will help show they are harassing you simply because you have something they want, or they are scared you will tell the truth on them!

I was warned to Shut up or get hurt!

Guess what! I will not lie about them or anyone else. But if they can do this to me, You maybe next! Follow the money! This is Pike County!

I feel sorry for you Donna....I have read your story over and over about how you have been wronged...I am sure that Jimmy Thomas was not the reason you did not win your case...who did you use as a attny ??? all of that anger is going to eat you up...

Anonymous, I'm not Anonymous. I always tell the truth. I happen to be 100% right. So there's no reason to back down!

I want to change the law's in Georgia so people will have not have to go through what my Child and I did and are still going through.

Teresa more than likely didn't have powder burns on her or they would have done something by now! If not for the Burousas family, for the community!

Just be proud you don't live close to Jimmy Thomas! Every time we make the Atlanta News Jimmy lives mighty close by.
Something don't seem right with that!

As for stalking him, I don't know where he lives. I have a 3/4 ton 4x4 Chevy, and I don't make unnecessary trip's anywhere!

But I did tend to look back at him as he rode by my house at 10 mph with his elbow hanging out the window looking hard at my property and home. If you classify me looking back stalking, So be it.

He doesn't do that anymore, since I blessed him out in front of I think about 20 people.

By the way no more of my pet's have been shot or killed since then either. I don't think my house has been broke in since then.

Regrets, I should have done it sooner.

But God works in his own time.

I have to admit, The deputies tend to be good people trying to do the best they can.

Some of them are wonderful, and have no idea what he has going on under the table. They are doing the best job they can.

I want to thank the deputies that helped me with my calf the other night. I will still help them no matter who's cows are out.

They used to call me when other people's cows were out and It dawned on me they are good people. They are doing the best they can.
