"It's been ruled a homicide," Pike County Coroner Terrell Moody said Friday of the recent death of Concord resident Jimmie "Buzz" Burousas Jr.

When will the local sheriffs office begin to look closer at the wife? Husband killed at end of the driveway yet she was out of the hospital in just a few hours and playing with dogs with no really life threatening injuries that would have warranted being life flighted. Do the supposed bad guys really exist are were they made up by the wife? Seems if I were beaten by two guys I would want law enforcement there first as elderly dad can't help me as much as the police. Is this investigation being staled or placed as less important due to who her father is and is she being protected due to that relationship? Truth needs to come out so that the citizens in Pike County can rest assured that we do live in a community that is overall very safe and secure. We have a great community and need to take pride in the fact that we do.

Why do you make all of these crazy comments on here, sheila? The things you say make no sense. This is a comment page for comments about the topic in which it is under. Why don't you stick to that topic and quit trying to be funny (or whatever it is your attempting to do)? I have seen you make these comments on several pages and I vote that if you want to try to be a smarta** you visit another web page where its acceptable. These are stories about lives lost, homes lost, and very heartbreaking things. Its serious matters and your making fun of it. Not just this story but several others that you have done this to. Hey Sheila, there is new word last night that an arrest has been made in Spalding. Is this true or false. I too do not understand why a cap been put on everything. The Florida murders are on the news every 20 minutes, arrests have been made and live photos from that sheriff. 14 days?

Go figure with a family member that has worked for the county. what does that tell ya. I still want to know a discription of these Robbers Murders that Buzz;s wife knows. Thats is what channel 2 said she knew one of them. WHO WAS IT THEN? or WHAT DID THEY LOOK LIKE? She had to have seen them.And Sheila. why does"t the reporter ban you from this sight? teresa can rest easy...she knows who killed buzz....the sherriff knows who killed buzz...thats why he told everyone not to worry...maybe mr. thomas doesnt have enough evidence to charge her with the crime yet....but maybe he just jopes to sweep this under the rug...either way the burousas family has been robbed of justice unitl someone is made to pay for this cowardly act.

did i misread the paper on wed 7/15/2009. ithought it had been ruled a suicide. i guess my eyes are worse than i thought. i think a description of the robbers should be printed in the paper.

As a citizen of this county I would like an update from the Sheriff about this crime. We need to know if there are murderers and robbers on the loose looking for their next victim!!!! We have a right to know something.

Is there anybody left who doesn't think she was waiting for him to come home at the end of that long drive? Somebody must have picked up the spent shell casings from the shotgun blasts. They just can't locate the shotgun. Thieves roaming the countrysides rarely carry shotguns around.
