Drowning claims life of local woman

Zebulon resident Sharon Tyler died Thursday night after being found floating face-down in a swimming pool at her boyfriend's home.

Zebulon Police Chief Robert Lummus suspects Tyler suffered a heart attack. She died at Spalding Regional Medical Center, Lummus said.

Godspeed, my beloved sister in Christ. I was blessed to be loved by you. It hurts to let you go, but I know where you are and who you are with. We will see each other again.

Deepest condolences to Sharon Tyler's family and friends. She was a classmate of mine in high school (PCH Class of '74) and I always enjoyed going to her window at the bank, because she was unfailingly pleasant and greeted me with a smile.
Seems the good are often taken far too soon.

I didn't know Ms.Tyler, but she looked like a very sweet lady. Her smile is so radiant and my prayers are with the her family.
She was also very pretty in this picture.

I worked with Sharon at United Bank at one time and hate to read about her passing. My thoughts and prayers to out to her family.

We are really going to miss you girl, we all grew up together, went to church together and enjoyed Jesus together, my prayers go out to the family, who is just like my family, we love you but 'God loved you more.
