SRE calls in emergency crews to deal with damage

More calls have come in, we now have roughly 8000 members without power. High winds, lightning and fallen trees are the main causes and due to the extremely high call volume, members are experiencing busy signals. We are enlisting the help of additional crews to deal with the massive number of outages and restore power as quickly as possible.

UPDATE: At 7:40 a.m., the outage number was down to 6650, Cook reported.
