Pike County schools will be open Wednesday morning, resuming their regular schedule. All county were closed Tuesday after the Pike was under a tornado warning and high winds caused damage in many areas Monday night.
In a weather-related, one vehicle wreck, one, possibly two fatalities, were reported in the area of Mt. Gilead Church on Hwy. 19 North with multiple additional injuries reported.
Southern Rivers Energy has power outages all across its service area.
