Balloon blessings for Brett

Friends and family members release balloons with prayers for Brett Beshers, a Pike County High School sophomore who is battling leukemia. He is currently in the hospital and has been since Dec. 17, 2012.

Brett Beshers is the definition of courageous. On Aug. 12, 2011, he was diagnosed with leukemia. He has battled the disease for a year and a half.

The 15-year-old is a 10th grader at Pike County High School.
