What a difference a year makes.
The historic Pike County courthouse will have a fresh new look for 2013 along with an additional 5,600 square feet of office space. All major construction projects have been completed inside and outside the building. Finishing touches will be completed after an upcoming meeting with all department heads involved.

The original upstairs hallway of the courthouse ended at the prisoner holding cell. The hallway leads to the new addition where offices and an additional courtroom are located. Before the project started, the clock tower was white with a white roof and a white, rusty clock face. Now the clock tower is beige with a black dome to match the building’s new metal roof.
