CARE must adopt out 20 to 30 rescued dogs by the end of the year, including Pepper who is a blue tick mix who is up to date on all of her shots and has been spayed. Call 706-957-8316 to adopt Pepper.

Do not understand. Why did a councilman make the request for a lease agreement on the new Molena fire house to the BOC? Molena has a City Manager to handle and guide our business affairs.
It is time for the BOC and all city governmental authorities to study credentials, training, testing, qualifications and previous employment records prior to hiring. We have witnessed the revolving door with county managers at great loss costs to citizens through taxes.
You did not build that firehouse. (Obama)
No one gave credit to DOC Warden Ed Sanders or recognize him for his efforts and that of the crew he put together.
Just finished reading my PJR cover to cover. I read a very long letter and never knew of the multi-taskers extreme duties. There is a tear in my eye and we will miss two long term city clerks without a job tonight.
Dwain W. Penn, as always I enjoyed your write up on Molena. I'm wondering if there is a misprint. " A seasonal benefit allows the commissioners to pick up all the pecans they want." Who made such a statement? I'm sure our City Manager knows government better than that. I guess next Molena will have speed bumps.
NEWS MOLENA CITIZENS CAN USE
The Molena powers that be want to bypass Pike Planning and Development to hire a private agency to solve dilapidated housing. Sounds like another Chief headed here from Jonesboro.
Molena is $30,000 below in revenue from last year. Guess Molena will pay the "private agency" with a city take home vehicle, city gas, city cell phone and all the pecans they can pickup. Maybe Molena should use Hilltops Chief Inspector of Dilapidated Buildings.

Sounds like Obama in front of a tele-prompter.
We miss you Miss Helen, Miss Carol, Chief Andy and Mr. Doug.
