Once upon a long time ago, my two older children and five of their friends in the 17-21 age group moved into a huge old rental house near Grant Park in Atlanta. Yes, it did have seven bedrooms – I said, “friends.”
These kids were trying their wings, kicking the traces, sowing wild oats – however many clichés there are for that period of time when they believe their parents cannot possibly understand them. I’m sure some agave and best barley malt got sown, too, but I try not to think about it. All of them went to school in Clayton County, but Atlanta – the allure was just too much.
