In just her first year of coaching, Jessica Cox has taken the Middle School softball team to the big game and came away with the hardware.
The Lady Pirates defeated Monroe County, 6-4 in the championship game. They got to the championship game by defeating Crawford, 12-4 and eliminating Gray Station, 13-12.
The Championship PCMS Lady Pirates hold blue balloons in memory of the late Jacob Woerner.
