New county clerk hired

In a special called meeting Monday, Oct. 22, the Pike County commission voted 4-1 to offer JoAnn Wrye the position of county clerk, with commissioner Tamra Jarrett opposing. Wrye accepted the job and started her new duties Tuesday, Oct. 23.
