System Teacher of Year honored
Systemwide Pike County Teacher of the Year Mandy Cloy didn’t see it coming but her kindergarten students weren’t surprised when she was awarded and congratulated for her teaching skills. Cloy was selected as Teacher of the Year out of the four finalists chosen earlier this year from the primary, elementary, middle and high schools.

I have learned over the years to toss in words like "accepted" in order to establish a loop hole to prevent my actually being legally required to give the reward. It works much like our FBI and other law office strategies.
