Mrs. Urhonda Harris, age 38, of 2221 Bethany Church Rd., of Williamson, Ga., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harris were conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 14550 Hwy. 19, Griffin.

I was at the funeral of this great friend on Sunday, and would like to take this time to say thank you to McDowell's funeral home,Mt.Gilead Baptist Church and to all who attended.I'm sure URhonda was smiling down on us all, as she smiled all the time. To URhonda I love u bunches and know that all is well.
I would also like to say thanks to all who spoke at the funeral you all did an awesome job.
URhonda you are surely missed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mrs.Harris was a very good teacher. I loved her like a mom and she treated all of us like her own kids. She loved everybody and treated everybody well. She was there when we needed her and we were there for her. We are praying for her family. We love you Mrs.Harris!!!!!!!

I am a friend of Urhonda's sister. My daughter was taught by Ms. Harris. We both extend our sincere condolences and will keep the entire family in our prayers. My daughter was not able to attend the services but had an opportunity to speak with her sister.

I am truly amazed at the outcome of the people who attended the service to honor Ms. Harris. It showed how much of a testimony she was to all!

To the family of Mrs. Harris: Mrs. Harris was a good teacher. She was a very loving and caring person. I miss her so much. She cared about all of her students and encouraged us to do our very best no matter what circumstances we were faced with. Family members please stay strong and keep God first and he will keep you strong. I lost my dad in 2004. I know from going through this that God will see all of you through this difficult time. WE LOVE YOU MRS. HARRIS!!!!

in a loveing memory of mrs harris . . .she was a great teacher. mrs.harris was a great teacher and she always encourged her class to be the best you can be she told use she loved all her students and it was a big shock to find that she had died we will never forget her and will always be in our mind you were the best teachr ever love you always........mrs.harris was a funnn loving and a careing person.on wednsday,january 14,2009she took her journey home. .
she was Unique one of a kind unlike anyoe else on earth. she was respectful to all she new. she had a lovly since a humor she was just a outstanding,nurturing,dedicated women. she is like no on else. . .i will always miss her. and she will always be in my mind and heart. i love you always.

When she died me and one of my friends in that class was actually walking to her class for 5th period and Mr. Maddox told the teachers to pull everyone into the nearest classroom so me and my friends where in the gym and he told us and i thought it was just like a joke or something so i walked in her room thinking she would be standing at her door and say start your warm-ups but she wasnt then everyone was crying and it finally hit me this is real yesterday was the last day i would ever see her alive and i cried and cried it felt like the school wasnt the same anymore.But i just hopes she knows we all loved her deeply and will always miss her and tell the yonger kids how great of a teacher friend and compassionate woman she was and how she saved most of us from failing.WE LOVE YOU MRS.HARRIS

O...M...G... when Mrs. Harris died i cryied so much she was not only my teacher she was my cuzin. The sunday before i went to there church, we were putting christmas ornaments on the tree. She was smiling happy and you would have never expected what was coming. We all love you Mrs.Harris and we all miss you;)
