It’s been a great week to be an American.
First, the Olympics; how could you live in this country and have dry eyes as Team U.S.A. entered the stadium during the Opening Ceremonies? Hundreds of the finest athletes in the history of the world marched in, smiling and laughing, wearing the colors of our country.

Wow! What a fine looking, as well as, competent Republican Team we will have since Paul Ryan agreed to be Mitt Romney's running mate.
Paul Ryan will energize the conservative base which has always had some doubts about Romney. So that alone will ensure a good turnout on election day for that group of people which is critical in this election. I really like what Ryan has done in Congress and he is by far the most knowledgeable person when it comes to budgets, deficits, etc. One of his strengths is the ability to take complex issues and explain it in a way that all people can understand.
Make no mistake about it. You are going to see immediate attack ads from obama about Ryan. But I think now we are going to have a clear choice in this election - on the Reps side we want small government, less federal spending, lower deficits, lower taxes. The Dems want the exact opposite. So now the people can decide. I am sure the Dems will say that Ryan wants to cut Medicare but that is simply not true. The Reps must deliver a clear message on how they propose to fix this mess. The Dems have no message. They haven't passed a budget in the 4 years that obama has been President. He wants to raise taxes on the rich. When that doesn't produce enough revenue (and it won't) he will want to raise taxes on the middle class. Very obvious to me.
I think Florida may now become the key state in the election. If the Reps can show the retirees that the better choice is Romney and the risks of obamacare to their finances, I think he can win the state. It will take some work because of the all the transplant Dems from the north but the middle of the state is the key.
Ryan is also Catholic. I think they will use that to their advantage over the abortion and birth control bills. It looks like obama is going to take negative ads to a whole new level now. It is time to expose him for what he is. We will not make it through 4 more years of obama without a major meltdown. I feel the security of the country is now clearly on the line.
Time to get involved!
As VP Joe Obiden would say, "Mr. President this is a big f@+=*^g deal."
I put in a $7 bid for a "Mickey Mouse Outfit", and now it seems I'm only nineteen minutes away from owning Obama's entire Cabinet.
I am just trying to relax for a couple of weeks to see how things go until after the RNC convention in Tampa. The Dems are jumping with joy after the announcement that Ryan was selected for the VP position. In my opinion, they seriously underestimate what Ryan brings to the table. He is a straight shooter, honest, open, likable, and committed to finding big solutions to solve our problems - everything that obama and Biden are not. He is unknown to most of the country but once people start to pay attention they are going to find out that he offers so much more than anyone in the Dem party.
If you want to read a great book about who obama really is, there is a new book on the Amazon top 10 best sellers list titled "obama's America" that will make you lose sleep at night. When you read who he associated with during his early life and through college, you will understand where he wants to take this country. His close professor at Harvard is especially important - a devote Socialist who "disappeared" during the 2008 election so reporters could not find out about him. The guy is truly radical. Why Harvard employs someone like him is beyond normal reasoning.
The election is going to be close because obama has bumped up the entitlement roles in every category so as to collect votes. It is time to reverse this trend. That is why this election is so important - both for the President and control of Congress. If obama wins and gains full control again of Congress we are doomed. But I think the polls are starting to shift again. Maybe the debates will be the deciding factor. obama without his teleprompter is just a potato head. Looks for some serious gaffes on his part because he cannot do anything with a prompt.
Hanging in there..............I just hope those extra seven states that obama found does not hurt us.
