Assessors discuss 'pro-rate policy'

While they will wait until new county manager Michael Phillips is on board, Pike County tax assessors plan to invite him and county commissioners to a workshop to hammer out a policy on taxation of property destroyed after the state-mandated Jan. 1 taxation date, and the time of year taxes are billed.

Today (August 5) is the 50th anniversary of the death of Marilyn Monroe. She was so beautiful.

Yes Sheila, Marilyn was a beautiful lady.
Mary Jo Kopechne was a beautiful young lady with a full life in front of her. She was pulled into the "Boiler Room Girl's." All this done by the Kennedy's. Two wasted lives from power people. It is what America faces now as in the past, Total Control !

Yes she was. Too bad old Teddy Kennedy did not have the Portuguese Water Dog that he gave obama that night when he left Mary Jo to drown. The name of the dog is Bo. He is the only name I capitalize in The White House. Although Bo is obama's initials. Poor Bo. The dog cannot help it. Bo will probably vote Republican. I give old Teddy credit for only one thing. He died at the right time so that he could be replaced by a Republican.

Can you just imagine the disaster Obama is going to inherit if he is re-elected?
