Commissioners and superior court judges converged with contractor Mike Cartner of J.W. Spratlin and Son Construction to discuss courthouse and courtroom details. All five judges in the Griffin Superior Court Circuit gathered June 12 to make requests related to courtroom proceedings.

When the courthouse was built did they have sage/seafoam green paint to match the little green specks in the carpet? If the subs, electricians and millworkers expect to be paid for the additional judges accommodations then the judges should chip in and pay them. Sure hope the County Communicator used his Brownie Camera and took photos. Why is Omangham, Ocollins and Opowers not in the picture? Looks like the two most intelligent commissioners are the only ones looking after our SPLOST nickel.

This sounds to me like most any other construction project out there. Changes have to be made, the price goes up, the people (homeowners) gripe and moan, and yet when it's finished, all breathe a sigh of relief and are proud of the results.
George, George, George, I really must challenge you to spend 24 hours without a negative comment..... can you do it?

Very true Ms. Cats. Why wait until the work is 90% finished then the judges say, Nah, we need to do this and that. The contractor tears it all out and starts over on your nickel. My nickel is worn out. Opp's that seafoam green does not match the little specks in the carpet, change it back to seafoam blue with a tint of tar balls.

Cats, Cats, Cats I will accept the challange when you post your real name like everyone else is required to do.

Yeah, these re-dos would pay to fix a lot of pot-holes on the roads that this SPLOST was supposed to take care of.
