I love science fiction movies. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about the bloody, horror-filled ones. I’m talking about the movies with plenty of special effects, action and a story line that teeters on the edge of possibility. I know I’m not the typical female when it comes to this.

My dad didn't quite manage to be there for his children. But for me, God picks up the slack.
