The Parks and Recreation Authority plans to run three additional sports starting in 2013. Several Pike County Youth Soccer Association members raised concerns about the authority managing the soccer program at the May 14 meeting.

Parks and Recreation Authority members discussed with the Pike County Youth Soccer Association their plans to take over soccer registration starting in the 2013 spring season. The authority also plans to start handling baseball and cheerleading registration after the current and upcoming seasons are completed.
