Qualifying ends, races take shape

It would take a fool to run against Donna Wynn. She has kept her promises from day one and runs a professional office of which Pike can be proud.

One day at the American border a man was about to enter the United States on a bicycle. On the back of the bicycle lay a bag. The Border Patrol tore the bag to pieces, confident they would find illegal drugs. They were surprised to find that the bag only contained sand. They waved him on through. More people began crossing on their bicycles with the little bags on the back of their bicycles. Their trips became more and more frequent. The Border Patrol continued to tear open the bags, only to find more sand. The trips and bicycles finally became so frequent and redundant that they waved them on through with their bags of sand. Years went by. The Senior Border Patrol retired. He spotted one of the men walking down the road and stopped to converse with him. He said, "Hello, many years have passed and I can do nothing now, just tell me, what was you smuggling over the border?" Bicycles," the man replied.

There you have it ladies and gentlemen. We buried our heads in the sand.......now we have 37,434,659 illegal bicycles right here in America.

Have you ever noticed that coroners never campaign for election. They get in office somehow and stay until they are pronounced dead by someone else. Is that really a necessary expenditure for taxpayers nowadays? After a short period of time....I can determine if a person is dead or alive. If under 30 without a cell phone stuck in their ear, they are as dead as American morals. If over 60, they want to be dead. Between 30 and 60.....they are living in their own hazy minds with minimal recall and no concern for anyone but themselves.

There may be some exceptions to the rules. But very few that I know.

In my many years on this wonderful Earth, I have not heard a single negative comment about Roger Green or Donna Wynn. My toast to you:

"May you both continue being incumbents until you decide otherwise!"

President John Kennedy campaigned hard in Alaska and lost but won Hawaii handily without visiting the state. Later he said, "Just think what my margin might have been if I had never left home at all."

(I guess sometimes it pays to sleep in.)

Everyone will remember where they were for obama's entire first term. Speeches about bridges, living under bridges or jumping off bridges.

One more term and the last will be the most prudent option.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says his plan to stop deporting younger illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children will make the system "more fair, more efficient and more just."

The president says it "makes no sense to expel talented young people" who are essentially Americans. He says he was taking the action in the absence of action by Congress "to fix our broken system."

Obama's election-year initiative should help him among Hispanic voters. It will begin granting young immigrants work permits, affecting as many as 800,000 young people who have lived in fear of deportation.

A man in the Rose Garden asked Obama while he was speaking, "Why do you favor foreigners over American workers?" Obama responded that "this is the right thing to do."

(This prez makes me SICK! Get in there Johnnie Caldwell. Kick butt until all illegals are back in their native land....don't forget obama. Kick him twice.) What in the Hale is an essential American? This joker would sell Michelle for a vote. Of coarse he would need a change purse to keep the money from the highest bidder. A really small change purse.
