Cancer survivors march around the track to start last year’s Relay for Life. This year the Survivor Walk is set for 7:25 p.m. Friday, May 18.

Pike County's 2012 Relay for Life will kick off this Friday, May 18 at the high school track with several live bands, student performances, great food and more to support cancer survivors, their caregivers, and to remembers those who have passed away after battling cancer. The action-packed 24-hour event will include many local bands, games and entertainment as well as the popular Womanless Beauty Pageant and other games in an effort to raise funds for cancer research through the American Cancer Society.
