Pike's unemployment decreases

Pike County’s joblessness was at 8.8% in March, down from 9.6% in February. It was 10.1% in March 2011. Pike remains second only to Coweta County in terms of low unemployment while three other counties joined the single-digit statistics.

In 2007, unemployment in Pike was less than 4%. I am praying for a change in the oval office to cause a change in this trend. Please bow your heads:

Dear Lord, I know as a "Nation Under God" we made a terrible decision in 2008. Please forgive us for electing a man with NO Christian base as our Commander and Chief. I hope it is your will to give us a chance to correct this massive error in judgement which threatens to destroy a CHRISTIAN nation.

We got an opening for county manager. That should help the percentage a little more.

The Pentagon says it’s in a bind, with nowhere to turn for helicopters needed by Afghanistan’s air force except Russia, a top arms supplier to Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad.

The U.S. Army has a $375 million contract to buy 21 Russian-made MI-17 helicopters for the Afghans from Rosoboronexport, Russia’s state-run arms trader, Pentagon Undersecretary for Policy James Miller said in a previously undisclosed March 30 letter to a lawmaker opposed to the deal.

(Remind me once again...why do we have UN-employment in America?)
