Donna Kiblinger was crowned Pimiento Queen by Zebulon DDA president Walker Chandler during the event at the courthouse.

Around noon Saturday on the Zebulon courthouse square, several hundred people gathered to enjoy the Pimiento Festival, sponsored by the Zebulon Downtown Development Authority. Judges tasted and named the World’s Best Pimiento Cheese Spread during the annual contest.

Congratulations to Pimiento Queen Donna Kiblinger. Great story. Sad, the biscuit man wanted the title but he can try again next year. He did show off his dancing skills, made the crowd really laugh.
