Courthouse to get new HVAC units
Courthouse construction was a major topic before commissioners as they voted 3-2 to update HVAC units at the courthouse and have asphalt shingles installed instead of a metal roof at the April 11 meeting.

Todd Goolsby of public works department is making recommendations on the HVAC system? I guess David Allen the Building and Zoning Director is now working on roads, asphalt and grass mowing. No wonder the County Manager is bailing out.

We do not need Obama, Pelosi or Reid here in Pike County, we have Collins, Mangham and Powers. April 11 the metal roof was voted down but brought up again last night and approved by, you guessed it. The SPLOST budget voted on by the citizens for this spending does not matter, sounds like Washington DC. SPEND SPEND SPEND. Just remember and vote your pocket books, Ocollins, Opowers and Omangham come up for re-election this year same as Obama.
