Pimiento Fest this Saturday
Pike County was famous for growing the heart-shaped red pimiento peppers in the middle of the 20th century. This year's Pimiento Fest will be held Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Zebulon courthouse square.

It is unfortunate the guy that wants to be Queen of the Fest is representing Pike County in Harris City.

Just because the biscuit man was not voted Pimiento Queen is no reason to get upset. No reason for Sour Pimiento's. Woman up, there is always next year.
