Pike County’s joblessness was at 9.4% in January, up from 9.2% in December. It was 11.2% in January 2011. Pike is second only to Coweta County in terms of low unemployment.

Former County Manager Steve Marroson would never have let unemployment rise in Pike County. Mr. Marroson was a expert on unemployment,public relations and storm water drainage. Where is he now?
