Orders can be placed online and picked up at the Wednesday Market building on Highway 18 across from the First Baptist Church in Zebulon.
Spring crops sprout early
The warm winter months and hot spring days have helped many Pike County crops mature and ripen earlier than in previous years. The Market on the Square will feature many of the early vegetables and fruits from around the county and beyond, starting this weekend from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
