Autism Speaks: Asking the wrong question

Walking down the street, Jesus saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked, “Rabbi, who sinned: this man or his parents, causing him to be born blind?” Jesus said, “You’re asking the wrong question. You’re looking for someone to blame. There is no such cause-effect here. Look instead for what God can do.” John 9:1-3

Good thought Deborah. It is easy to fall into the trap of blaming ourselves even more than others blame us for our lack of faith when it seems that our children or loved ones are not healed. The other fact we need to remember is that Jesus paid for healing by His stripes so it is already done even if we haven't yet seen it. It helps when the blame question pops up to place it squarely where it belongs - at the devil's doorstep - a lie!

"The autism rate for U.S. children is 1 in 166, according to the federal government. The autism rate for the Amish is 1 in 15,000.

That is one MIGHTY big difference. Google The Amish People. They have not allowed progress to cause disease in their children. New and improved, processed foods, plastics...No Thank You ...........they go God's way. Seems to be working quite well, huh?
