Pike County High School has always been a school known for its academic excellence. Students who have excelled in the classroom have a chance to take part in Advancement Placement classes - beating the global average in passing the AP exams.
Senior Carson Wynn takes Advanced Placement macro-economics with STAR teacher Mark Jones. The current pass rate for the AP exam for macroeconomics is 93%, one of the school’s top pass rates. All the AP pass rates totaled exceed state and international averages.
