"The largest bottled-water factory in North America is located on the outskirts of Hollis, Maine. In the back of the plant stretches the staging area for finished product: 24 million bottles of Poland Spring water. As far as the eye can see, there are double-stacked pallets packed with half-pint bottles, half-liters, liters, "Aquapods" for school lunches, and 2.5-gallon jugs for the refrigerator.
Really, it is a lake of Poland Spring water, conveniently celled off in plastic, extending across 6 acres, 8 feet high. A week ago, the lake was still underground; within five days, it will all be gone, to supermarkets and convenience stores across the Northeast, replaced by another lake's worth of bottles."
I lived in Tucker, Georgia for a few years. Do you think it is hard to find an apartment available to rent? It is easier than craving chocolate. Each day as I drove to work, guess what I passed? Two new GIGANTIC apartment complexes under construction. Expanding The Concrete Ponderosa to which cities have mutated.
Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that all the apartments had inside toilets and running water. Ain't that great?
Do people really think that we cannot totally eliminate the water supply? Is anyone that STUPID? If natural resources cannot be depleted, let's just use our oil wells in Texas and quit importing it. Oh yeah, I forgot, they have been USED UP! SUCKED DRY! SOLD OUT by dead, rich Texans.
I will guarantee you that any building ban will be lifted RIGHT NOW for any city, in any state...if enough $$$$$ changes hands. The water shortage will be a temporary oversight. As one hand washes the other. (without water.)
Check out how many businesses, apartment complexes, etc. are sucking from The Flint River.
Remember, it travels under the runways of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Which continually expands.
Money hungry people and bottle water consumers will not be satisfied until we suck the oceans and seas so dry that we find Bin Laden's skeleton and the two tap-tap bullets.
