The Three Rivers Regional Commission has held its two public hearings on proposed road improvement projects to be paid for under a proposed regional transportation sales tax. It has now been sent to the transportation roundtable for review. With the tax, Pike County would get a total of $16.1 million.

"Increased fuel efficiency of modern vehicles caused gas tax revenues to decline. Those revenues are needed to maintain roads and bridges."
gas revenues are triple+ what they were 10 years ago. the problem is spending is 5x what it was 10 years ago.
stop doing all these things government wasn't designed for and start doing the things you were supposed to be doing all along and there will be plenty of money and plenty of road improvements.
But I'll still vote NO.
