More than a million Georgians drink water from private wells. Many Pike County residents depend on well water for survival, yet only 3% of wells are tested for harmful bacteria each year.

Wells are not safe. My wifes ex husband dropped two road kills in her well before we married and without her knowledge. At our wedding her teeth were green and blond hair streaked green. Had to drill another well 100' away. Not too funny.
If the funky water will not clean jogging pants then that should be clear evidence you need to have it checked.

How have all these old people managed to survive for so long drinking well water? I'm offended that these same old people walk around acting healthy and flaunting their longevity. My well water is probably close to 30 years old and looks the same as it did the last time I checked it.
I remember one time when I dropped some dead animals in my ex-wife's well right before she remarried. Then, after she another one dug, I routinely drop human excrement in it, unbeknownst to her and her new husband. Good times!
Furthermore, anon, my doctor has certified that my excrement is impervious to chlorine, so my ex and her new husband are tasting real, raw talent. Good times!
People have drank well water since the beginning of time. Well water dont scare me but city water(any city) does because of the chemicals they put in it. You always hear about "boil water advisories" on the news. Ex. Thomaston draws water from Potato Creek after Griffin dumps sewage in it. Then most cities draw from reservoirs that have fish in them.
once again anonymouse is wrong.
