John and Randi Reeves of Athens, Ga. announce the birth of their son Matthew James Reeves at 8:17 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens.
He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 21.25 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Sue and Heyward Robbins of Sylvania.
Paternal grandparents are Rodney and Sherry Reeves of Concord.
