I know many people that would love to have your job that would actually come to work each day and WORK. Caterpillar pays a fair wage and provides benefits that you won't get elsewhere. In return, they expect a fair amount of productivity from you (which I know for a fact they aren't getting). You have it better than you think. Don't believe it, quit, find a job somewhere else and then cry about how bad you have it then and how good you had it when you were with Cat.
Again, we don't need your type so BE GONE!!
I will gladly trade places with you, my place in the line each week for unemployment and the wave of letters from prospective employers that have passed you over for the job. I will gladly take your place with a steady job and benefits for my family. Say the word and I will show up on time and ready to work.
Grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.....
Try politics.
I worked at Vernay. In the first 2 months I was there I had solved a 2 million dollar problem. I've never been in more trouble than that. The fact I can read & comprehend lead to it....
I was always showing up early before my shift, bring my meal and eating before I had to start work. I brought enough to last a 10 hour shift. Plus enough snacks for others that didn't plan.
I had car problems once. I was wrote up for being out on GRAND JURY SUBPOENAS. I was the victim of a crime and had to go and tell what happened.
I busted the company production records also.
Yea! I'm the worst thing that ever walked this earth.
I have to say I loved that job.. It was the best work out you could ask for. I truly loved it.
You can ask Johnny Caldwell Jr, about it if you want... Or even Daniel Hiatt. I'm more than happy to name all the people involved.
Yes I busted the production records... Yes I solved a God only knows how many million dollar problem. Yes I was at work on time and didn't lay out.
Yea, I know I didn't do drugs and I can read and comprehend what I've read. That's no excuse for what they did.............
I worked for the best plant manager in the world while at Caterpillar. His name was Bob Glinky. After Bob was promoted, he was replaced with a "poor excuse" for plant manager.
They passed up promoting Bill Boyer, a NATURAL, in managing people. Bill is fair, firm and respected by his employees.
Caterpillar is an excellent asset to Griffin. Bill Boyer...it is time for you to come on back to Griffin. You have been missed....
I think the guy you know is the one that works alongside me and the first person that posted. Both can leave and that will make room for 2 more. The headline can then be changed to 202 jobs. It will also make my life easier when I can do my job and not have to fix all their non-caring mistakes.
People like you, your "friend" and the first poster simply cause me to shake my head in wonder.
I only worked 40 hours a week for them and on my days off I sold the peaches from the trees me and my daddy set out, at the farmers market. It was just 60 to 90 hours a week. Talk about promoting Pike County Peache's. I had the best and purest Peaches ever grown.....
John Gregg, And several farmers includeing Chapmans, Hammocks, Alexander, and more. If you know peaches in Pike County... You Know Who I Am!
I said Pike County Peaches on my sign. I hand packed every peach. People looked for Pike County peaches. I did it for all of us, not myself. Ed, Robert, & John's sons can tell you I did all I could right in promoting Pike County. John used to come in at the restaurant or some meeting and when I entered the room he would tap the table. The entire room went silent...
