A Spalding County sheriff injured in a crash last week remains in critical condition, say officials from the Spalding County Sheriff's Office.

SCSO place the PR machine into high gear after the accident. Makes you wonder why? Did he have a CVA prior the MVC?

I hope he is better, although the real story is that he is unchanged. All that happened was that he was stabilized. Hope he can make the turnaround soon.

That makes me scared to get on the road in Spalding. It's really scarry if the sheriff runs into people. I am going to hide under the covers.

It's called an "accident" and it can happen to any one of us. A moment of inattention, that blind spot we all have, any one of us is capable of having an accident.
I have not met a driver out there who hasn't made a mistake at some point in his driving career.
