Walter Geiger, publisher of The Journal Reporter and pikecountygeorgia.com, has been in acute renal failure and a patient at Macon Medical Center since Friday. Currently undergoing dialysis, his nephrologist is optimistic he will regain kidney function.

Take it slow Walter. I expected to be released from the hospital everyday. Took 14 weeks, IV's 24/7 and a loss of 32 lbs. Life is good and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

First off let me say you will pull through. Dont ask how I know these things I just do. Second off when I was "walking the line" all I could think of was the future well-being of my wife and kids. Not only is that normal but when you stabilize you will love them more than ever. Third off you need to get access to a laptop and get back to work.
Praying for you confuses me. Do you want for me to pray for you to go to that better place you believe in Geiger? Or want me to pray for you to stay here in a the less better place. Just playn, you know how I fell about prayer. LOL

I have news to report here since the keepers of this site are too asleep at the wheel to do so. Dee Stewart, Spalding County Sheriff, was involved in a serious accident on Thursday and is in intensive care at a hospital in Atlanta. You can thank me later, Pike citizens, for providing you this critical information that your on the ball website did not think important enough to report.

If you desire Pike Citizens to read about Spalding County officials with severe injuries, you should have posted the website for the GRIFFIN, GA newspaper in case somebody might be remotely interested. http://www.griffindailynews.com/

Im back with my "inane" ramblings. All you prayers help me out. Are we praying that Geiger goes on to that better place or stays here in this less than better place? Christianity has always been so confusing to me! I know how your clan is always saying one thing but live life the exact opposite.

Mayhem, you really should amp up the med dosage . Your depressive polar side is retarding your ability to communicate. Everyone expects your manic polarity to ooze to the top of your incoherent diatribe. More is expected of you. You can do better. Yes, I prayed for you with emphasis in my prayers that you would complete your 12 step program and not be a drain on anyone. Join me at noon tomorrow and we will have a silent collective prayer for Walter's speedy recovery and hope he is back at his newspaper soon.

Mr. Walter make them flush that PIC. Hope you are much better. It is a long drawn out stay with many IV bags to kill those buggers. In my thoughts and prayers.
