Firefighter Elijah Bishop of Station 5 in Molena lost his life in a vehicle accident Monday, June 20.

Sorry to hear about the loss of firefighter Elijah Bishop. The thoughts and prayers from the highfalls fire department go out the friends & family.

If there was ever a time to use the word “tragedy” this would be it. A very young life is gone too early, may God be with his family, for I can’t imagine what they feel.

I didn't know Eli, but my heart goes out to his family and friends.
He was a very handsome young man who left this world way too soon!
May God Bless the Bishop family and comfort them during this time.

This is a terrible loss of a precious and good life. Young men and women, please buckle up and watch your speed, be careful on the roads. You are loved and needed by your families. My condolences to the Bishop family and all of Eli's friends.
