Hummmmmm, what kinda of special treatment? Lock down 24/7, crappy food, no internet,limited phone service, a cold damp cell. How in the world can anyone say this is living good? Unless you are use to the project life-style jail sucks, I guess. There are some that think her daddy has pull and is making her stay at Cassa De Upson Hilton worth while. If that is all the pull Daddy-Doug has she is in for a long haul.

I know if I was a correctional officer I would give her preferential treatment. Just look at her picture. That woman is beautiful!!!

Teresa is a beautiful lady. She is a tennis pro, deer hunter and dog lover. Her dad taught her to hunt and scope a rifle. Teresa has a big heart and always helping others. She should not be confined, she is no flight risk.

Sure the next day after being "beat with hammer" she was playing with her dog on the news. (great recovery) No doubt she is great with firearms and has a great aim.

Pike County hired a department head without a background check. The hiring took place with the knowledge she was fired from Clayton County. She was hired knowing she wore a DOC ankle bracelet. Why can't Teresa be released on bond and wear a tracking device?

what the!?!? your saying that pike hired a cold blooded killer? why free her anyway? she might as well get used to living in a cage where she belongs. she shouldnt be worried about bond. the only thing she needs to worry about is a lethal injection.

What preferential treatment? This is the way the judicial system works. The prosecution has to carefully build a case without wrecking it before the trial, and the defence has to do everything it can to preserve the rights of the accused. It is a slow, clunky system which applies to everyone, even if the general publick has already decided the accused is guilty.

I put my name out there and i'm right down the road from the Burousas crime, but I want to know why if you search Jamie Weis and go to the 4th & last page it only talks about his case & not the original article about his crime? My husband is a potential juror who is self employed & the sole support of his family.He supposed to care about a murderer when his business goes down the tubes? He can't get online and read about the original crime, thanks PJR...Why is it fair for someone to lose his business & home for a guilty murderer...Jamie Weis gets his right to a fair trial...screw the rest of us!

all he has to do is act a fool and he will be excused. doesnt take much to get out of jury duty. unless someone prefers to pick a juror with his shoes on the wrong feet and his shirt on backwards. if you have anymore issues in your life you need resolved feel free to post back.

I believe it's so your darling husband won't go online and get a pre-concieved opinion of guilt or innocence. It's how the system is supposed to work. He should first hear the case in court, then decide. Not base his decision on an old newspaper article.

Just some FYI for your husband. Sounds like he's going to need all the help he can get.

Jamie Weis killed a woman,& from what I've seen in Pike County that's okay. It's okay to kill women & children as long as there's money or property to be had.

Teresa killed a man! In Pike County that not okay. It doesn't matter what the circumstances were.

There is no law here in Georgia to protect women & children.
