Pike County sheriff's deputies responding to a May 15 domestic dispute call in Concord made three arrests after confrontations with attendees of a party across the street. One arrest was made for obstruction of an officer at the Hill Street Extension residence from which the domestic disturbance call was made.

It was on channel 11 and 5 of Atlanta. Looked like a war zone. It will be aired on Georgia's Most Wanted. Scary, my best friend lives near there on 18.

This was never on the news. This was a simple disturbance call that led to alot more than it shouldve. PIke County calling other counties over is just non sense, we should be able to handle 3 unruly people.

i remember years back a pike sheriffs officer got a beat down up in that area. better to be safe than sorry. sounds like pike county needs a swat team. pike seems to be having a tough time maintaining roads in that area also. you think we can call a few outside organizations to help get that problem rectified also. i just wonder how long it was since the last sheriff car drove through that area on patrol and how much longer it took for this party to escalate to the point it did. 4 hours, 8 hours, a day? i betcha it was even longer.

Thank goodness we had the US Marines, Seal Team 6 and the Georgia National Guard who came to our aid. No injuries, no deaths.

BTW my friend won the bleu ribbon today for her pimentto cheese spread she works with us at Curves. Yo go girl.

They used to have one there, but the "SHERIFF" said he would do it, so no police now.... Concord is nothing but trouble since he has taken it over...

when has jimmy thomas taken over pike? i see he called spalding to back him up. if he is tight with ol dee concord will be trouble. dee will explain to jimmy how neighborhoods like this can be a good thing. not for the people in the neighborhood but for jimmy and dee. after all all the dope in concord came there via griffin.

is a frend of mine. There is nothing my Shrieff cannot handle. Hilltop is totally seperate from my Cuncord!

I can't speak intelligently on the behavior of the ignorant peoples that live on Hill Top but they should have to pay for the cost of all the other police services that had to be called upon.

if you were intelligent you would have the sense to know that the tax concordians pay include that of being protected and served by the PCSD. they also pay taxes to keep the streets in the hiltop area maintained but for some reason the roads are completely ignored.

I can't believe some of the actions of people in my own community. Maybe instead of being outraged at the comments; perhaps, we should take a look at why they are made.

It's time to grow up and act like responsible adults. I'm not talking about you in particular but the people that continue this nonsense.

We are supposed to be celebrating our freedom and we are acting like a bunch of clowns.

i think its great to see the angencies working together. this was a tense situation that escalated to a man being tasered to subdue him. if the responding officer played hero im am sure it would have had disasterous results. with alcohol being a factor anything was possible. for the safety of law enforcement, nearby residents, and the unruly, power in numbers was a good call. if you want jimmy to have his boys handle it themselves he can make it a point to get taxes raised in pike so he can get himself some more soldiers.

Sounds like one of them fat tard facts. If i need police protection or service i hope they bring the national guard with them. Better yet a few of them navy seals. This way my problem can be resolved whether he is armed or not.

OMG!! have any of you been to the Hilltop area they talking about..its not a bad area trust me..an it is NOT THE WAR OR DURG ZONE THEY TRYING TO MAKE IT OUT TO BE...as for pike county sorry ass police department calling in other county police we tax payers got to pay for that too. This is just a story the newspaper took and run with..because there was only about 20 maybe 30 people there at the party..the police only said three was arrested well thats a lie too...they took four..One they had no reason..Oh yeah did they forget to tell you there were mostly BLACK PEOPLE AT THE PARTY..HAVING A GOOD-O-TIME TILL THEY CAME..(PIKE COUNTY POLICE ALL WHITE))..HA HA HA GET A LIFE AND STOP TRYING TO KEEP THE BLACK FOLKS DOWN..

the arrests had nothing to do with RACE. in my opinion the only people that "keep the black folks down" is the black folks because you're not letting that crap go. i've had a party where the police were called, so have other people. none of this is due to the color of skin. it was due to the actions that got them there.
