Some of the vilest people I have known are those so called elitist liberals who try to manipulate the masses in an effort to obtain political power. The means of this manipulation is not to advance society but to degrade it. Their plan is to degrade the social and economic system to a point where they can use this “so called crisis” as a means to call for government intervention. Remember Rahm Emanuel; “Never Let a Serious Crisis Go to Waste”

WOW! I definitely could not have said it better myself. It is weird that visions of Saddam Hussein and his statues popped into my head. I hope as a nation we wise up before it is too late. But it is really hard to stabilize a canoe when you are already at the waterfall.

I was thinking about this article tonight as I sat in church and listened to today's Gospel. You know the one, where Chirst commanded us to love our neighbor as ourselves? I wondered how you could have gotten so far off course from something so simple as that. It seems you've lost the ability to respect your fellow man's opinion even when he differs so greatly from your own. I could go into a rant here but I'm not going to go down the path you took. I WILL say that you have become very tunnel visioned in your thinking and spewing hatred is not helping mend this country. We are in a very sad state. We've been divided as a people and we do not stand together anymore. What we need is healing. Not more of the same mockery for each other's opinions that we have experienced over the last 8 years. I'll leave it at that and wish you a very blessed Easter.

Goody, goody. Another fisherman of verses from the Bible. Pick the one you like and run with it. Love our neighbor as ourselves, do you think Christ meant the people in the little adobe biblical hut next door? Or did he mean the people in the whole world? Do you think he really meant that you should let a person SLAP your other cheek? If so, how many times? My shampoo has this instruction, "wash, rinse, repeat." If I follow these instructions, I will never finish. Your opinion, in my opinion, is another case of using Christ and the Bible as a cop-out. I am sure you would allow someone to come in and rob your house and take all your money, right? Why not? If you do not believe that morality is on a decline in this country, you need to take your head out of the sand. Now bow your head, Obama is great, Obama is good, let us thank him for our food.

Really, Mr. Smith ? Do you know a lot of people ? Or enough vile people so that you may separate them into categories -- vile and vilest ? How long did it take you to determine they were vile ?

Vile: morally despicable or abhorrent.

One would think you would hang out with a better class of people.

Where can I read this plan ? "They" actually have a plan ? If so, who might "they" be ? More of those "vile" people ? "They" will have to work really hard to top what the last group in Washington has done to the economy.

"These self appointed intellectual's attain their sense of value..."

You must really spend a lot of time with these "vile" (yet intellectual) people. The infamous "they" again ? At least enough time to discern their innermost thoughts and to determine what they "value".

And while I'm quoting you, what is with all the quotation marks ? Whom are you quoting ? The vile "they" people ?

Goodness, you must study "liberals" like other people study lab rats. You seem to know everything they are thinking. Or are you just psychic ? Here's a test. Tell me what I'm thinking right about now.

"A liberal would say that people do not need morality."

This liberal would say you need to check out the beam in your own eye, Brother. You're selling hate. And I ain't buying.

A group hug doesn't cut it anymore, Don. I think you are a tad bit jealous of William's writing ability to get a point across. Without copying his quotes, you would have only written three sentences.
