Dog and Pony Show set for Saturday
The second annual Dog and Pony Show will be held May 14 at Chestnut Oak Center on Highway 19, five miles south of Zebulon. The free event is sponsored by the Friends of Pike County Animals, Pike County Horse Club and Pike County Agribusiness Authority.

The Dog & Pony Show 2011 was a success. The Pike County Horse Club would like to thank all the participants, vendors & supporters. There were fun games on horseback, costume classes for horses and dogs and many educational exhibitions as well as silent auctions. A special thanks to the Pike County Ag Authority for making the day possible. The arena & footing is perfect and it was wonderful to see the public enjoying it.
