Wonderful choice for fire cheif. His two sons keep station #2 of Hollinville in order. We feed the crew there at night when they are in training. My uncle was a fireman in Clayco.

I just want to congratulate Mike on his recent promotion to Fire Chief. I know some of you will read this and think oh my gosh Clayton County didnt we just get rid of a Clayton County Fire employee.
Well these are two totally different people. Mike Grant is a very special person and I rarely if ever think you will find anyone who truly knows him will say a bad word about him.
He is a incredibly smart person and incredible teacher of fire and ems related items.
The County really got a good one with this hire.
Mr. fat bass tard you must be careful when referring to Henderson. Remember he was the Polecat administrator and his assistants man who could walk on water. The Polecat has no right to attend county meetings nor voice his opinion until he pays his county taxes like the rest of us.
Now that Mike has Danny's job, will he be getting Danny's big buck$ too? Will he keep Firebug?
PCVFD needs a lazy big mouth janitor. He'll make a good one. Where is that expensive stretch fire engine?
Questions...questions...
Truth be told you couldn't find your way out of the smoke filled training trailer at Forsyth. I personally had many conversations with M. Grant and we are on the same page so to speak. Now to his defense he doesn't know my identity and you better tread lightly Smokey, I single handily desecrated Henderson and you would not even be a challenge. Sorry the truth hurts.
BTW, I know Mike will do an exceptional job.

Keep spreading your smoke Firebug. Chief Mike KNOWS who you are. He is a VERY smart and closed mouth gentleman. Tread lightly and keep your trap shut or he might think you will back stab him like you did Chief Danny. Slide back into your hole bug. Chief Mike deserves a salary.
It is Chief Grant and unfortunately it is a non-paid position you moron. Do you not comprehend what volunteer means? Again, you are showing your lack of education, experience and maturity. I believe you better stick with trying to impress the girls than us real fire"men"!
I have known Mike all of his career at Clayton County Fire. You could not ask for a more knowledgeable person. In both the EMS side and The fire side. And he is also very good at explaining the different aspects of the job. I just hope he does not get blindsided by all the folks who disagree with hiring another one from clayton county I think he was the right choice for the job.
Well stated Darrell, Mike is an outstanding person with impeccable character. I do believe he has the tenacity to overcome the any lingering effects from the previous administration. I wish him well too.
I have to side with Carol and Tammy. It is like Nancy Peliso telling the American citizens,"we have to pass this bill to know what's in it." We got rid of two clowns who would vote in the dark. Go Carol and Tammy, if the information packet is not there vote NO. Doug, Donald and Tommy are on the way out.
Grant is the obvious choice....That said, the preparation, notification, and premature vote display a continuation of amateurish bungling by the county manager and most of the board.
I am a retired Clayton County Fire Dept Battalion Chief and have known and worked with Mike Grant for several years. I have never worked with a finer person. He has the knowledge and experience that is needed to fulfill his duties as fire chief in any community. The citizens of Pike county are lucky to have him as Fire Chief.
Waz up Chief ! How is retirement treating you? I haven't heard hide or hair from you since you "played like horse sh&*t and hit the trail. Come see some us that you might still know before the youngsters take over.....
