The emergency 911 center has state-of-the-art technology to provide quick responses to calls, including tracking deputies so the nearest unit can be dispatched to emergencies. Operators answer phones 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and the weather channel is constantly monitored in case tornado warning alarms need to be sounded.
