The annual Pike County Health Fair sponsored by the Pike Cooperative Extension and Pike Farm Bureau is set for Friday, April 1. It will be held at Life Springs Church at the corner of Highways 19 and 109 east from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
There will be several free health screenings and educational exhibits, according to Helen Carter, Family and Consumer Sciences agent with Pike County Cooperative Extension. The event is open to any citizen who is concerned about their health. The free screenings include bone density, blood pressure, blood glucose, hearing, pulmonary function study and vision screenings.
