Concord will hold the annual Lighting of Concord Friday, Dec. 6. Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. with musical acts, hayrides and a Christmas Bazaar. Humbly Serving Ministries in Zebulon is doing what it can to provide families with food and clothing and it hopes to give children the gifts they want most. A Christmas tree has been decorated with Christmas Angels inside the nonprofit organization’s building between Ben’s Hobby computers and Dairy Queen with the names of children and their top three wishes for the season.
