Nothing, nothing, nothing is harder for reporters than covering stories involving the deaths of children.
If you have watched the television news from Moore, Oklahoma, in the last week or so, you know that very few reporters -- male or female -- could speak without breaking down when they told of children trapped under the rubble of Plaza Towers Elementary School. We now know that there were more children elsewhere, and safe, than was first believed. We are told now that “only” nine children died.
