Molena man owned home where cop was shot

A Lamar County man who works as a City of Griffin police officer was shot in the hip during a domestic altercation in Spalding County June 12.

Officer Chad Moxon was off duty when the incident occurred at a residence located at 4768 Old Atlanta Road. According to Spalding County tax records, the home there is owned by James Lawrence Scott of Molena. [Full story »]
