Crime and Arrests

Adrian Thompson, who faces charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and two counts of second degree cruelty to children, was in court before Judge Tommy Hankinson Friday, April 27. Thompson, 65, has been in jail since the April 14, 2008 murder of Mark McCullough, 47. A competency trial is set for June 18 – whether Thompson’s defense agrees to a jury trial or bench trial – to settle the issue.
