The Three Rivers Regional Commission has held its two public hearings on proposed road improvement projects to be paid for under a proposed regional transportation sales tax. It has now been sent to the transportation roundtable for review. With the tax, Pike County would get a total of $16.1 million. [Full story »]

18-wheeler wreck blocks Highway 18 near Concord

Around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday an 18 wheeler and small car collided on Highway 18 west of Concord. The roadway was expected to be blocked for an hour while GSP investigates and the scene is cleared. The highway was cleared less than an hour after the wreck. [Full story »]
