Firefighters learn life-saving lessons
Pike County Emergency Services trained 20 firefighters Aug. 25 to prepare them for problems they could face when fighting fire in a residence. The firefighters performed lost and disoriented training in which they dressed in full turnout gear with their faces covered in a dark house and had to follow 400 feet of hose to find their way safely out of the house.
